Kerala Floods: 7 Ways To Help The Affected People

Kerala Flood Relief Funds
Written by Team Urban Tree

Kerala is experiencing its heaviest rainfall since 1974 and the situation is griming every day with an increased death rate. Red alert has been given to all the 14 districts by The Meteorological Department and the downpour is not expected to subside at least until this weekend. Let the Governments do their part of the rescue. Don’t you think it’s our time to show back our love and care to our neighbours who helped us during the immaculate 2015 floods in Chennai?

Let’s put Social Media to good use again this time and extend help to those in need of rescue and rehabilitation. Below are few of the many trusted sources of help. Pick one and do your part of humanity.

#1. The Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund – CMDRF

This is a timely initiative by the Kerala Government to fight against all the odds and save their state by themselves. The repair is immeasurable and massive and it would definitely need arduous monetary and humane intervention.

Donate online funds here https://donation.cmdrf.kerala.gov.in/ or funds can also be directly transferred to CMDRF from your personal bank account. keralacmdrf@sbi
